AYSO Region 177 Core Fall Program

The FALL (CORE) SOCCER PROGRAM is designed to be a fun program for players of all ages, experience levels and skills. We want your child to understand and enjoy soccer while learning to play "the beautiful game" through the six principles of AYSO:

Important Information:

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOUR EMAIL IS UP TO DATE. Email is the main form of communication.
Please note, ONLY U6 age groups are allowed to have buddy requests. For older age groups, if you wish to place players on the same team please consider volunteering as head coach/assistant coach (children of head coach/assistant coach pairings will be placed on the same team).
ALL PLAYERS NEW TO REGION 177 are required to submit a birth certificate for birthdate verification.
Playground/Schoolyard are programs for our youngest players, and are ONLY Saturday mornings

Refund Policy:

Blue Sombrero/Sports Connect service fee ($3.50) and AYSO National Membership Fee ($25) are non-refundable.
Full refunds may be issued until July 1st (except nonrefundable items, e.g., Blue Sombrero service fee and national fee)
$50 refunds may be issued through July 14th
There will be no refunds issued beginning July 15th since teams have already been formed

Important Season Dates

PLEASE NOTE: All dates are tentative and subject to change pending field availability

Practices

You should expect to hear from coaches in mid to late July.
Practices may begin as early as August 3 (it is still okay to go on vacations if planned for the summer), or as late as the last week of August.
Practice days and times are at the discretion of the coach and NO refunds or changes will be made for players that can't abide by the chosen schedule.

Games

Games will begin Saturday, September 12, 2026 and end the weekend of November 14-15, 2026.

All-Stars and Area Playoffs

All Star teams will have additional commitments that may last through February 2026. This will be an invitational program and is NOT mandatory. More information on our All-Star program can be found here.
Area playoffs for advancing teams will take place the weekend of December 5-6, 2026.

Playground/Schoolyard

Playground and Schoolyard programs will start Saturday, September 12, 2026 and end Saturday, October 31, 2026.

Playground/Schoolyard

AYSO Playground and Schoolyard are pre-soccer, adventure/exploration programs for three and four-year-olds introducing fundamental motor skills in collaboration with parents & guardians, using soccer as a common thread.

There are no traditional teams or practices in Playground or Schoolyard.

In Playground, players participate in fun activities under the instruction of our First Touch Soccer coaches with the assistance of a parent. Children learn soccer skills like kicking, dribbling, and throwing in the ball, but in a low-pressure setting. Parent participation is a must.

In Schoolyard, there is greater emphasis on playing in game situations. Hourlong sessions are typically broken into 30 minutes for focus on skills/instruction followed by 30 minute games. Players are placed onto teams and still have uniforms and coaches similar to older age groups. Young players need to get a feel for the ball and the field, so even though there are adults all around and many opportunities to offer instruction, the emphasis is on fun and play.

Please note, there are no mid-week practices in Playground or Schoolyard, only Saturday sessions.

Registration Fees and Dates

Fees for the 2026 Season are as follows:
$250 Per Player
$50 Earliest Bird Discount Through 4/30/26
$25 Early Bird Discount Through 5/31/26
$10 Discount for Each Additional Sibling

4/1/26: Registration Opens
4/30/26: Earliest Bird Discount Ends
5/31/26: Early Bird Discount Ends
6/30/26: Last Day for Registration

We believe that all kids should be able to play regardless of ability to pay, and we have scholarships available to families enduring financial hardship.

OUR PROGRAM IS RUN COMPLETELY BY VOLUNTEERS.

It is because of volunteers that our children are able to play, so please consider offering up your time to volunteer. Free training is provided!
