Welcome to the Belmont Cup Page
Belmont Cup 2009
U10 Divisions
The U10 Belmont Cup will start on November 14th. Each team will play two games that day. There will be no games on November 15th. The majority of the games will be played at Hill but some of the U10 Girls games will take place at El Do North. The goal and penalty boxes might need to be adjusted at El Do North but the field size should be just fine. We will have additional U10 Goals for these two additional fields at El Do North.
After the point totals of the first two games and ref points are combined, the top 8 teams will advance to November 21st. Then a quarterfinal, semifinal, and final will take place.
U12 Divisions
The U12 Belmont Cup will start on November 14th. Each team will play two games that day. There will be no games on November 15th. All of the games will be played at Stanford Middle School. There will be two additional fields at Stanford Middle School on the west side of the field. The girls will be playing the majority of their games on the west fields.
After the point totals of the first two games and ref points are combined, the top 4 teams will advance to November 21st. Then a semifinal and final will take place.
U14 Divisions
The U14 Belmont Cup will be starting this Saturday, November 7th. They will be playing a round robin tournament on November 7th and 14th. The finals of the Belmont Cup will conclude on November 21st. These games will be played at El Do South and Central.
The point totals for the games on November 14th will go as follows (6 points for a win, 3 points for a tie, 0 points for a loss, 1 point for a shutout, and 1 point per goal up to 3 points total) The highest point total you can get is 10 points.
The U14 Belmont Cup Schedule is out right now. Just go to schedules etc. and you will find it.
The U10 and U12 Belmont Cup Schedule is being worked on and will be out as soon as possible.
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE continue to check schedules etc. Mike Wells has been working very hard on getting the schedules up and posting messages on the site. I would strongly suggest you look on the schedules etc. site because there is a lot of information there.
ALSO, please help out wherever you can. Some teams may have to set up and take down on the same day. At El Do North, whoever the first U10 games are will have to make sure they set up the U10 goals after the U08's are done playing. With four fields at Stanford, there will be a lot of setting up and taking down. Plus there will need to be people who help paint the two new fields at Stanford. We are going to need everyone's help to make sure these next two weekends are successful!!!!
